Today's announcement from Intel of their new 3.46EE processor actually brings about a couple new pieces of technology for PC enthusiasts. First, the Intel 3.46EE uses a new 1066 MHz front-side bus (266 MHz x 4) that increases memory speed on the DDR2 platform. Along with it, Intel has released the Intel 925XE chipset that is needed for official support for the 1066 MHz FSB.
